General Terms and Conditions of Use and Service

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website of Sea Dreams Lda or making any reservation or service booking.
Access to our website, as well as the use of our services, is subject to full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. By using our service, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms described herein.
Company Identification
Sea Dreams Lda is a legally registered company in Portugal, licensed for maritime-tourism activities under RNAAT No. 611/2025. The company holds all required authorizations and insurance to operate charter vessels.
Scope of Activity
Sea Dreams Lda owns the vessel used in its services and operates directly in the execution of boat tours and charter services. Our commitment is entirely focused on customer satisfaction, always ensuring the highest standards of safety, comfort, and quality.
Quality and Safety
Sea Dreams Lda is committed to maintaining high standards of maintenance, hygiene, safety, and professionalism. Our vessel undergoes regular inspections and fully complies with applicable legal requirements. We actively monitor customer feedback and take corrective actions whenever improvements are identified.
Use of Life Jackets
Wearing a life jacket is mandatory for all children under the age of 5, as well as any passenger who is not able to swim, throughout the entire duration of the trip. This measure is to ensure maximum safety on board. It is the client’s responsibility to inform the crew of any swimming limitations.
Disclaimer of Liability for Damages
If the vessel is damaged as a direct result of actions taken by the client or their guests, Sea Dreams Lda will notify the client within 24 hours. A written report will be issued within 48 hours detailing the damage and its cause.
A repair quote will be obtained from a qualified entity and the cost will either be charged directly or deducted from the client’s associated payment card.
Extra cleaning, legal or maritime fines, or improper behavior penalties will also be charged to the client.
Sea Dreams Lda is not responsible for loss, accidents, injuries, illness, or death occurring during services, except in cases of proven gross negligence by the company.
Smoking and Consumption Onboard
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vessel. It is only permitted in the exterior diving platform area. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the ongoing activity.
Red wine, port wine, juices, or drinks with intense coloration that could cause permanent damage to the vessel are not allowed onboard.
Food and Beverages
Clients are allowed to bring their own food or beverages, but must inform the company or crew in advance. Alternatively, a catering service or private chef can be arranged through Sea Dreams Lda upon request.
Departure Time and Location
The departure time and location are stated on the ticket, communicated by email, or listed on the Sea Dreams Lda website.
Punctuality is essential. Late arrivals may result in loss of the trip with no right to refund. The company reserves the right to deny boarding to any passenger who fails to respect the agreed times.
Start times may be adjusted due to weather conditions. Please check the confirmed time the day before your activity.
Itinerary Changes
Itineraries may change due to weather, tides, or other factors beyond the control of Sea Dreams Lda. Such changes do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
Possible changes include:
- Adjustment of departure/arrival times
- Unavailability of recreational equipment (e.g., paddle boards, inflatables)
- Cancellation of swimming or cave stops
- Change in catering or lunch location
- Inability to access certain caves
The skipper always has final authority over the safety and feasibility of the trip.
Cancellations by the Company
Sea Dreams may cancel any booking if necessary. If this happens, Sea Dreams won’t be responsible for any losses or inconveniences. However, any deposits or payments made will be fully refunded.
Cancellations are rare but can occur due to things beyond control, like bad weather, rough seas, mechanical problems, or if the crew isn’t available because of illness.
Cancellations by the Client
Once the deposit is confirmed, the yacht and selected time slot are exclusively reserved for the client, preventing Sea Dreams from accepting any other bookings for that period. For this reason, the deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation by the client.
If the client has made full payment and later chooses to cancel, no refund will be issued.
If the client wishes to reschedule the date or time of the charter, Sea Dreams will do its best to accommodate the request, subject to availability. However, if rescheduling is not possible, the original reservation will remain in effect and no refund will be granted.
Third-Party Bookings
For bookings made through third parties (hotels, agencies, online platforms, etc.), Sea Dreams Lda is not responsible for any miscommunication, misinformation, or cancellations beyond its direct control.
Accessibility and Mobility
Access to the vessel may involve inclined ramps, steps, or narrow entries, which may be challenging for guests with reduced mobility. Sea Dreams Lda encourages all clients with specific needs to notify the company in advance so that appropriate support can be arranged.
Allergies and Medical Conditions
It is the client’s responsibility to inform the company in advance of any relevant medical condition or allergies. A note is available at the time of booking to detail any special care required by the crew. Sea Dreams Lda reserves the right to reject a booking if the client’s health condition presents a risk to themselves or others.
Authority Onboard
The captain has full authority and may interrupt the trip in case of inappropriate, dangerous, or disrespectful behavior by any passenger. The captain’s decisions are final and in accordance with Portuguese maritime law.
Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any legal dispute will be resolved in the courts of the appropriate jurisdiction.
Modifications to the Terms
Sea Dreams Lda reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any material changes will be communicated with at least 15 days' notice.
